About Ryno Tools
Updated: June 2026
Ryno Tools is a free microlearning platform for Ham Radio, Falconry, and CompTIA Security+ certification exam prep. No account required. No paywall. Works offline as a Progressive Web App (PWA).
What We Cover
Ryno Tools provides practice quizzes, timed exam simulations, and instant explanations across five certification tracks:
- Ham Radio — Technician Class (425+ questions, FCC Part 97)
- Ham Radio — General Class (456+ questions, FCC Part 97)
- Ham Radio — Amateur Extra Class (706+ questions, FCC Part 97)
- Falconry Apprentice (398+ questions, USFWS / state regulations)
- CompTIA Security+ SY0-701 (100 questions, current active exam)
All questions include explanations and are tagged by topic so you can focus on specific areas.
How It Works
Study mode lets you work through questions at your own pace with immediate feedback and explanations. Exam mode runs a timed simulation that mirrors the real test — question count, time limit, and a final score report.
Ryno Tools is a client-side-only app. There is no backend, no login, and no data collection. Your progress stays in your browser. After the first visit, the service worker caches everything so you can study offline. You can install it on your phone or desktop like a native app.
The Ask Ryno Blog
The Ryno Tools blog publishes deep-dive guides on topics from each certification track — band plans, propagation, falconry regulations, cryptography, and more. Articles are written under the Ask Ryno byline: drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by a human before publishing. Every post lists its sources so you can verify the information independently.
Our Mission
Build Momentum. Ryno Tools exists to make niche, high-stakes certification prep accessible to everyone — whether you are studying for a ham radio license, a falconry permit, or an IT security credential. Free, fast, and no friction.
